Annual Convocation –2006
The Registrar notifies that the candidates who have passed in November 2005/April 2006 Examinations of the following Courses alone may download the applications for Annual Convocation-2006.

Ph.D
M.Phil/Cert./Dip./P.G.Diploma-Regular college students
UG/PG/M.Phil/Cert./Dip./PGDiploma-DDE candidates. Exemption candidates (Private study).
Candidates who are not coming under the UG/PG courses in regular / evening colleges and submitted their annual convocation applications through their colleges along with the convocation fees in the year April 2005/2006 Need Not apply again.

The candidates who are not coming under the above mentioned categories should apply for their degree certificates under Special Convocation. They can download the special convocation application and apply with relevant fees.

Annual Convocation Fee Details: Ph.D In Person Rs.500/- In Absentia Rs.750/-
M.Phil – Rs.500/-
UG/PG/Others – Rs. 215/-

The convocation fee may be remitted by Demand Draft obtained from any Nationalised Bank/Scheduled Bank drawn in favour of “The Registrar, Madurai Kamaraj University, payable at Madurai. The convocation fee may also be remitted by way of State Bank of India Account No.1 chalan at Palkalai Nagar Branch Only.

The filled-in application along with the DD/Chalan should be sent to The Registrar, Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai-625 021.

On or before 1st September 2006 without Penalty and 15th September 2006 with a penalty of Rs.100/-
Date of the Annual Convocation 2006 will be notified in the leading dailies later.

Candidates who have qualified themselves for an Additional Degree/Oriental Title Need Not Apply Now. They should apply separately under special Convocation provision, Website Address for Downloading the application for Annual Convocation-2006 is given below.
